San Fran - Streetcars and buses.

If we hadn’t already booked a tour we probably would have opted for a hop on hop off bus, especially now that we had the extra day.  So instead, if we didn’t walk we caught the streetcars.

Manned with a trusty map you can get yourself anywhere.  The F Line is the most popular for tourists as it runs from Fisherman’s Wharf, following the Embarcadero passing all the main piers, turning down Market St which leads you to Union Square and continuing down to the Castro district.  What also makes the F line special is that they use restored vintage streetcars.

When riding be sure to have the exact money $2.25 for Adults and a bargain price of $1 if you are over 65…. make sure you ask for a transfer ticket so you can jump on and off in a certain time period.

You can also get day passes that let you ride everything!!
